Today we celebrate a united Europe - a peaceful, cooperative and promising Europe. Especially in the border regions, European values play a major role every day through exchange and cross-border cooperation. For example, there are numerous joint projects.

A good example in the Euregio Rhine-Waal is the ‘Concert for Freedom’, which takes place Saturday 10 May 2025 at 16.00 in the Cosmas and Damianus Church in Groesbeek. On the occasion of 80 years of freedom, this concert will reflect on post-war hopes, new beginnings and shared freedom.
