On 21 May 2025, 40 Landfrauen visited the Vrijheidsmuseum in Groesbeek after cycling there along the European Cycle Route.
The fact that the museum takes a detailed look at various events, such as Operation Market Garden and the battle in the Reichswald "Operation Veritable", and establishes a connection between the 20th century and today, makes you realise that 80 years of freedom cannot be taken for granted.
The cross-border visit to the museum was a great success and was supported by the Euregio Rhine-Waal.
